When is it necessary to apply for a Planning Permit?

Using the site for a different purpose than its current use.
Conducting external building and engineering works or internal works on buildings/sites under special planning control (e.g., heritage protection).
Displaying external signage, such as commercial signs or illuminated signs.
Altering access from a main road, including modifying/constructing intersections, or intensifying the use/access of the land.
Changing the area where alcoholic beverages are served in your business, or extending operating hours.
Reducing the number of parking spaces or bicycle facilities available on the land.
